This heroic-looking arming sword is a great all-rounder, working well as a single sword as well as alongside a buckler. Every element has been hand-forged by Chris for an authentic Medieval experience.
It features a hollow pommel, which keeps a lively weight in the blade and a balance slightly forward of centre. The grip has a slight cant to the pommel that improves comfort and alignment when wielded in the right hand, as well as an offset tang to aid edge alignment.
The blade features twin fullers, adding to the simple yet striking aesthetic, and the oak grip is wrapped in linen thread and dark red kidskin.
It is optimised for right-handed use, and would suit a wielder with larger hands, and a palm size of approximately 10cm across.
