Your Balefire journey begins with an email. Simply contact us via our online form, and we’ll reply within three working days.

Please note, our standard fencing blades feature 2mm thick edges and a swollen tip for safety. We do not make sharp blades at all.

Upon ordering a Balefire blade, you will have three options:

Send us your broken or existing blade so that we can use it as a model for your new blade.

Send us your sword furniture so we can make a blade to fit and build the sword in the workshop. 

If you can’t be parted from your blade or furniture, we will ask you to fill in a form with measurements.

If you’re unsure about any aspect, don’t hesitate to ask – Chris has many years of experience as a swordsmith, and will ensure that your blade is safe, well-fitted to your hilt and a pleasure to fence with.

Once we’re on the same page, we will send an invoice to confirm your order. We will charge for shipping separately once the work is complete.
