This ambidextrous falchion is inspired by extant originals of the Elmslie Typology's Type 1A. Blade-centric with a low overall weight, it is ideal for a flowing fencing style. It especially shines in close play and bindwork.
It features a short, slightly downcurved crossguard which flares to the quillon terminals and a classic wheel pommel, both of which have an antique finish. The oak grip is bound with linen thread and dark brown kidskin.
It is appropriate for left-handed, right-handed and ambidextros use, and would suit a wielder with medium-sized hands, with a palm size of approximately 9cm across.
