Recovered from archaeological digs on the Pelennor fields, this sword's furniture still bears the scars from that titanic last battle between darkness and light!
This fantasy-inspired fencing sword is a tribute to the art and films that have inspired Chris in his work. It is hand-forged to have an 8mm thick spine, which fades into a wide, thin blade. Balanced by the solid pommel, this delivers a pleasant rolling feel in the cut, which will be familiar to those who have handled Renaissance cutlasses, such as those housed in the Grand Master's Palace in Valetta.
The sword is ambidextrous, and would be best suited to a medium-large hand, of 9-10.5cm across the palm according to the measurement guide here.
Its orcish aesthetic includes rough-forged furniture with an antiqued finish, and an oak grip wrapped in dark brown kidskin with a spiral riser.
Please note: this sword is sold as seen. If you are inspired to create your own design, please contact us to discuss a custom commission.
